New Construction

Buying a newly built property (based on construction plan or not) is for many people very different for many reasons. A totally different set of rules and laws apply (Rule Breyne), and many people do not fully understand pricing and typical terminology such as “exclusive of buying costs”, which is almost always utilized when pricing new construction asking prices.

History

CBI Immo was founded in 1975 by Mr. Willem Goffaux. At that time, Mr. Goffaux’ main activity was construction development of apartment buildings, offices and IFG showrooms (group of textile representation agencies). Obviously, people buying these apartments also needed to sell or rent their own properties. They increasingly called on CBI IMMO’s market expertise and knowledge to do so.

The arrival of a young generation meant a new challenge for the expansion of the company. From the Strombeek-Bever office, Ingrid Goffaux and Frank Laporte launched a major expansion effort in terms of real estate mediation (sale and rental). Today, this has become CBI IMMO’s core activity.

To support its strong growth, CBI IMMO in the mean time has opened 2 new offices in Meise and Vilvoorde. We proudly claim that with a team of 15 real estate professionals, CBI IMMO is now one of the leading real estate groups in the Flemish Brabant and Brussels regions.

CBI IMMO is active both in residential markets (sale and rental of houses, apartments, investment properties, construction lots and garages) as well as in commercial markets (offices, showrooms and warehouses). Considering our extensive knowledge and long-standing expertise, many developers entrust CBI IMMO with the commercialization of their new construction projects.
